One thing I've learned is about the Cc and Bcc fields, and at first I was thinking, "what in the world does that mean? Does it stand for something? I don't understand.." But then I looked into it more and now I understand, thanks to the help of my teacher, Mrs. Ronda Sol. I learned that Cc stands for carbon copy which means that whose address appears after the Cc: header would receive a copy of the message. Also, the Cc header would also appear inside the header of the received message. Bcc stands for blind carbon copy which is similar to that of Cc except that the email address of the recipients specified in this field don’t appear in the received message header and the recipients in the To or Cc fields won’t know that a copy sent to these addresses.
I've also learned many things that will help me in the future when applying for jobs. I've learned that if you send a cover letter for the job you want, you have to send it to the employer rather than just anyone (which seems like a common sense thing, but I really didn't think it mattered who you give it to as long as they worked there). I've written down two websites that we've used to find job listings, which I will definately use in the future because they were very resourceful and efficient: Monster.com; Craigslist.org
I've learned about file extensions, which are a group of letters coming after a period in a file name, indicating the purpose or contents of the file. there are many extensions such as .odt (which you would use for the Writer file), .ods (used for Calc files), .odp (used for Impress files) and .odg (used for Draw files).
Overall I have learned many things, such as Cc and Bcc fields, helpful job information and file extensions but these are just a few things I've learned that I have decided to share with you.Thank you for your time and patience.
